How to measure your ring finger size
1.Using a ruler:
- Find a ring among your existing rings, that fits your finger snug, but not too tight.
- Use ruler or measuring tape to measure the inner diameter of your ring. In order to do so, ensure you are using a ruler with millimetre (mm) measurements, then place your ring on top of the ruler and measure the inside of the circle – in other words, the inner diameter of the ring. Make sure you measuring the widest part of the inner diameter ( the one in contact with your finger )
- Use Ring Size Chart attached below to convert your diameter measurement into the correct ring size relevant to your country ( different countries use different finger size references)
2. Measuring your finger size using paper or a piece of string:
- Cut a piece of string or paper ( 2-3 mm wide strip ) to a length of around 10 centimetres (cm).
- Strip of paper would give you more accurate measurement because of its width, similar to the width of the potential ring band.
- Wrap the paper or string around your finger at the point where the ring should sit. Pull so that the string fits comfortably around your finger - not too tight and not too loose.
- Use a pen to mark the point where the end of the string or paper overlaps itself.
- Lay the string or paper out against a ruler or tape measure, and measure the length (mm) from its end to the point you have marked with pen.
- Use it to find your size using our Ring Size Chart
